This class is one of the highlights of working at UHC for Ashley as she gets to participate in the pool with patients and see how they improve and flourish in the pool setting.

Enjoying being active herself, Dr. Collinge took on her greatest exercise endeavour to date in 2007 along with 3 other students from her class to cycle across Canada on a health promotion tour. Realizing awareness at a young age of the importance of eating right and being active will help people avoid preventable diseases such as diabetes and heart disease; this cycling tour took on the approach of getting people healthy NOW to prevent disease in the future. The tour called Unleash Your Potential spoke with Boys & Girls clubs across the country, inspiring children and young adults into leading healthier, more active lifestyles.
